    Your role in the team

     

    This role will provide technical support of the newly integrated Trusteer solution and the evolution of risk-based authentication (RBA) at Allstate.   This will include expanded rollout while creating and maintaining high level business, functional, technical and design requirements around the RBA solution. Individual will support optimal IT solutions by applying knowledge of business processes and system architecture.

     

    • Apply security, technology and business experience to identify and define strategic information technology needs across all major business functions in respective area of expertise
    • Collaborate with appropriate parties to identify and communicate on growing threat matrix and patterns
    • Collaborate with Architecture and Infrastructure groups to set and enforce recommendations based on data and vendor suggestions
    • Provide leadership on the approach and content required to conduct module, integration, and functional testing
    • Make strategic recommendations with respect to anticipating and resolving significant threat patterns including operationalizing support
    • Represent respective area in benchmarking and best practices efforts.  Demonstrate expertise with external audiences for one or more technology areas
    • Serve as a subject matter expert across a broad range of technical areas in support of the technology strategy for the area
    • Understand the technical details, integration, and functions of multiple applications, hardware, and/or software within a team.  Execute and enforce best practices.  May be responsible to identify and design for non-functional requirements

     

     

    So, what are the essential criteria to apply?

     

    • All candidates must evidence an existing right to work in the UK
    • 3+ years of overall work experience in Cybersecurity, work experience supporting SSO, MFA, and/or RBA a plus
    • ITIL knowledge (Incident Management, Problem Management, Change Management and Release Management)
    • Ability to document installation procedures, Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), etc.
    • Experience with data analysis and recommendations based on data trends
    • Ability to describe highly technical information in an understandable level to any audience
    • Experience with vendor relationship and supplier management

     

     

    We also have some desirable criteria

     

    • Working knowledge of any Access Management and Federation product (Preferably ISAM or Auth0)
    • Scripting: PowerShell and/or UNIX Shell scripting (Understanding of PowerShell and UNIX Shell scripting)
    • Hardware performance and capacity commands
    • Text editors (commands, etc.)
    • Log Reviews - Ability to identify errors/issues and troubleshoot
