    Your role in the team

     

    Automation and Orchestration(A&O), Self-Healing Product Manager

     

    The A&O Product Manager will be responsible for defining, delivering, and managing the lifecycle of multiple Self-Healing products in our A&O platform which uses Cloud Foundry, Kubernetes and other containerization automation products. The role will help us develop solutions with a focus on Self-Healing. Product Managers are responsible for managing strategic product vision, product discovery, roadmaps, and backlog to maximize the customer and enterprise value provided by their product.  Successful Product Managers help to identify assumptions and validate those assumptions using product discovery techniques.  The A&O Product Manager will be responsible for building key relationships and working closely with key stakeholders and partners, ensuring the successful definition and execution of go-to market and communications strategies focused on platform adoption, driving hosting efficiencies and improving user experience. 

     

    The role will also partner with Sr. Leadership to facilitate product orchestration across the entire Automation & Orchestration portfolio to drive cohesive product alignment and delivery prioritization based on organizational outcome-oriented goals and value.  Product orchestration includes product manager development through establishing a community of practice to drive a learning culture including coaching and mentoring staff, stakeholders and peers.

     

     

    Responsibilities include (but are not limited to)

     

     

    • Interprets business goals and communicate it to platform engineering, automation and operations teams and help identify opportunities for the hosting product portfolio to achieve results
    • Analyze and understand the overarching application hosting technology and business landscapes and develop strategies to deliver efficient, comprehensive solutions to satisfy those needs in an objective manner
    • Create, drive and execute product strategy for our Self-Healing initiatives with collaboration with our Data-Science team
    • Listen to and incorporate the “voice of the customer”; invest significant time with current and potential customers to understand their needs & habits
    • Decompose complex problems into smaller manageable tasks by creating and prioritizing tasks
    • Develop and execute both an internal and external communications strategy for marketing your products
    • Define and manage metrics to measure the success of your efforts and to inform the overall product strategy
    • Engage in discovery/test & learn activities to quickly validate assumptions and product direction
    • Manage the product backlog, create an effective vision and provide timely stakeholder feedback on development iterations

     

     

    So, what are the essential criteria to apply?

     

    • All candidates must evidence an existing right to work in the UK'
    • At minimum 4 years experience in a Product Owner/Manager OR Business/System Analyst focused role 

     

     The successful candidate must also demonstrate competency in:

     

    • Entrepreneurial with a strong inclination towards action, preferably with experience shipping software
    • Clear passion for topics of technology products and an ability to identify possibilities to innovate in our product space
    • Ability to communicate complex and innovative concepts to a new product development team
    • Effectively lead and collaborate across boundaries to implement decisions and/or initiatives
    • Excellent written/verbal communication and facilitation skills for communicating at all levels (employees and leaders); including strong presentation skills
    • Strong interpersonal, analytical, time management and organizational skills
    • Comfort with ambiguity and able to independently drive resolution of issues and challenges
    • Ability to be self-directed and to proactively anticipate problems and seek opportunities

     

     

     

    We also have some desirable criteria

     

    • Experience with Self-Healing or Data-Science products
    • Experience operating in an environment driven by KPIs where you have the accountability to determine the best course of action to meet your goals
    • Good understanding of Agile principles with a focus on outcome-based delivery per schedule
