    Allstate operate a very flexible hybrid working policy that will allow you to design your working week in collaboration with your manager with a blend of remote and office working for NI based employees as well as condensed working patterns (4 day week/9 day fortnight). Employees based in GB will be employed on a permanent remote working contract.

    Engineering Team:

    The Role:

     

     

    At Arity we are utilizing cutting edge development languages, tools, web services and cloud technologies to deliver amazing capabilities and products. We are searching for talented and technical engineers who can help design and develop our products further.

    A successful candidate will collaborate within the team and across other engineering teams in Arity to implement and deliver features.

    • You have a good understanding and appreciation of industry trends within the mobile telematics space
    • You will work in an Agile Scrum Methodology
    • You will have experience using JIRA and Confluence.
    • You will implement technical components, applying reusability and up to date engineering techniques, languages, best practices and coding standards, such as SOLID and 12 Factor App. 
    • You will mentor and guide those around you, advancing your leadership capabilities aiding self-development

     

     

     

    So, what are the essential criteria to apply?

     

    • All candidates must evidence an existing right to work in the UK'
    • At minimum 3+ years professional experience as an iOS Engineer in Swift or Android Engineer in Java/Kotlin
    • Knowledge of Apple/Google Best practices and coding standards
    • Familiarity and Experience in test driven development
    • Experience deploying apps via the Apple or GooglePlay Store
