    Your role in the team

     

     

    We are seeking a talented accounting analyst to join our corporate accounting team, you will work alongside people as passionate as you, focused on delivering the best possible user experiences. This is a highly collaborative environment primed to adapt to an ever-changing landscape and which places business solutions at its core. 

    The successful candidate will work alongside other NI based staff within the Direct State Reporting team, reporting into the Delivery Manager based within the US.  This is an exciting opportunity to join a fast-paced, multi-location team, liaising directly with the relevant US state authorities in a crucial role for the organisation.

     

     

    Responsibilities include (but are not limited to); 

     

    • Prepares monthly, quarterly, and annual state filings
    • Reviews state plans to adhere to filing requirements
    • Works with internal and external areas to answer inquiries from the States and Filing agencies
    • Runs FDW and SAP queries to validate and reconcile filing data to general ledger
    • Adheres to checklist of monthly/quarterly accounting close and filing related deliverables
    • Prepares schedules and exhibits used for GAAP and Statutory reporting and/or analysis
    • Prepares both basic and complex account reconciliations
    • Assists in identifying process improvement opportunities
    • Works collaboratively within the team and across the department

     

     

     

    So, what are the essential criteria to apply?

     

     

    • All candidates must evidence an existing right to work in the UK
    • A degree level qualification (or equivalent) in Finance, Economics, Accountancy, or similar discipline,
      • OR a degree in a non-finance related discipline but supported with a post-graduate qualification within a finance or accountancy related discipline
      • OR 2 years’ experience in a Finance/Accountancy role
    • Obtained or working towards obtaining chattered accountancy qualifications
    • Advanced working knowledge of Excel e.g. pivot tables, V-look ups and macros
    • Applicants must be willing and eligible to travel to the USA.

     

     

     

    We also have some desirable criteria

     

     

    • SAP knowledge of FI-CO module
    • Knowledge of FDW
