    Your role in the team

     

     

    This is an exciting opportunity to join the technician family within the Product Operations business area.  This department works closely with actuarial, quantitative analysts, underwriting and coverage consultants to develop, analyze, and implement needed price and underwriting changes in Allstate’s various lines of business.  Responsibilities include interfacing with the different business units as well as internal customers in areas such as Technology, State Filings, other teams within Product Operations, as well as state Departments of Insurance.

     

     

    • Create rate and rule filings, and associated communications with a given Department of Insurance (including Responses to Objections and Department Inquiries)
    • Work with different business units to implement Rate and Rule change projects and Minor Initiatives
    • Work with different business units to implement Compliance Projects
    • Help generate Data Calls requested from Departments of Insurance
    • Assist with System Inquiries

     

     

    So, what are the essential criteria to apply?

     

     

    • All candidates must evidence an existing right to work in the UK
    • Minimum of 1 years related insurance industry experience
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite

     

     

    The successful candidate must also demonstrate competency in:

     

     

    • Strong decision making and problem-solving skills
    • Strong attention to detail; can analyze data and review analysis from others and identify and resolve basic data issues
    • High level organizational and project management skills in order to handle multiple concurrent assignments in a timely manner and to monitor processes throughout a team or department
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills including the ability to effectively collaborate with multi-disciplinary groups and all organizational levels
    • Works effectively in a team environment

    • Experience in P&C industry
