    Your role in the team


    We are pleased to announce a new role for an Application Developer within our Data & Information Services (D&IS) division. 

    This position will involve support and development for two products – the OneTrust Consumer Portal and Consumer Data Response Orchestration (CDRO).

    This product is being developed to meet legal and regulatory compliance requirements around personal information (PI) deletion, consumer requests, privacy notices, and 3rd party relationships supporting Allstate’s Privacy standards and State Privacy Laws (SPL).

    Going forward, the focus is to increase consumer-centricity, simplification, automation, centralization and scalability while continuing to meet our regulatory and legal requirements. 


    • Build strong relationships with business partners
    • Active involvement in information and requirements gathering sessions with business partners
    • Analyze and translate business / functional requirements and business rules into analytic requirements and deliverables
    • Provide support in resolving data and technology issues
    • Analyze data to provide insight and to ensure quality and consistency.
    • Test solutions to ensure they are production ready
    • Validate upgrades for vended product
    • Collaborate effectively with other teams
    • Work effectively with Product Owner and team members
    • Ability to work in a high-paced team environment
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skill
    • Exposure to work-intake, prioritization, estimation processes 
    • Understanding of the Agile framework and Product Mindset   


    So, what are the essential criteria to apply?


    • All candidates must evidence an existing right to work in the UK
    • 2 years IT related experience
    • Experience in working with Consumer Data 




    We also have some desirable criteria


    • Experience in privacy, data governance, risk management or related fields
    • Experience of working in an Agile environment
    • Knowledge of Java
    • Experience of working with web services  
    • Testing experience
    • Good understanding of consumer data
    • Good collaboration skills across multiple levels and function
