  Your role in the team

   

  We are delighted to be offering two positions within Allstate Information Security (AIS) and specifically within Identity Management.  As a Developer within Identity and Access Management (IAM) you will work alongside an existing team in the support and evolution of Allstate’s IAM services.

    

  Identity and Access Management (IAM) is a security discipline that enables the right individuals to access the right resources at the right times for the right reasons. In partnership with business areas, it is a collection of processes and technologies used to manage digital identities (Identity Management) and to control access (Access Management) that protect individuals or devices using Allstate’s resources.

   

  This is a great opportunity for a Developer who wants to join a product team that uses IAM dedicated software and other technologies to help with a broad range of Enterprise Identity and Access Management services.

   

  Within AIS we shall provide the successfully applicant with additional training to help them grown and develop their skills and career.

   

  You will be working predominantly with development, integration, deployment, and maintenance of Sailpoint IdentityIQ.

  
  The Senior role will also be an opportunity to be a tech lead and drive some engineering excellence strategic work across the IAM (Identity and Access Management) suite of teams.

  
  The Developer role will be an opportunity to work in partnership with an experienced SailPoint engineer and work on a number of key aspects of access management functionality.

   

  • Help lead the IDM platform for internal, Consumer and Agency environments
  • Installation and configuration of IDM Solutions
  • Troubleshoot and support IDM applications and systems
  • Implement/Customize Workflows, Forms, Rules, Provisioning and Certifications
  • Perform functional and technical requirements gathering and analysis for an enterprise wide Identity & Access Management program.

   

   

  So, what are the essential criteria to apply?

   

  • All candidates must evidence an existing right to work in the UK'
  • 4+ years’ software development experience in a hands-on technical role.
  • 1+ years of experience in implementing enterprise identity management and security solutions (Preferably SailPoint IdentityIQ)
  • Working knowledge of Java.
  • Working knowledge of web services.
  • Working knowledge of Web Servers and application servers, preferably WebSphere

   

   

   

  We also have some desirable criteria

   

   

  • Java and SailPoint BeanShell development experience
  • Unit testing knowledge in particular JUnit.  Experience of API, Rest.  
  • Have experience working within a AIS or have Information Security Certification.
  • Experience of working in an Agile team.
  • Working knowledge of Github, Jenkins or equivalent pipeline tooling for CI/CD
  • Proven track record of innovation.
  • Be able to demonstrate a passion for learning and learning agility.
