    Job Description

    As an Oracle Applications Support Manager, you will have extensive experience within Oracle Applications (E-Business Suite, SaaS ERP and HCM) and broad experience of working with customers. This will be a leadership role within the ERP Managed Services Practice, working with teams across the UK, Ireland and India. The successful candidate will have a range of responsibility from pre-sales, through to delivery within the ERP Managed Services Practice. You will report to the Portfolio Director ERP Support Oracle Applications and work with senior colleagues across the delivery and commercial sides of the Practice and be part of a team of 400 ERP consultants across Version 1.

    The successful candidate will have held senior management roles in the past working directly with customers or with other systems integrators, have people management experience and will be passionate about building and managing a global capability unit. This role will be fundamental in building and implementing a strategy of innovation to expand the portfolio vision. This will require a strong understanding of the customer to address customer challenges and understand the commercial balance required to incubate a growing capability. The successful candidate will have strong knowledge of business models, operating models, financial models, budgeting processes and risk management.

    This will be a high energy, high impact role that will require strong communication skills in order to confidently engage with internal and external stakeholders, the ability to resolve problems laterally and be comfortable balancing priorities across multiple assignments. This role may require some travel post COVID within the UK and Ireland to engage customers, understand their challenges and shape solutions. This role will also require experience working remotely with teams to build and deliver projects, lead assignments, and develop people.

    Role Responsibilities:

    • Managing ERP Managed Services Practice operations daily alongside ERP Location Practice managers.
    • Accountable for pro-active stakeholder support internally and externally - as measured by KPIs, customer satisfaction, budget and additional revenue generation.
    • Management of commercial performance and risk.
    • Prepare tenders and deliver customer presentations.
    • Act as point of contact internally and externally to escalate issues.
    • Conduct customer contract reviews.
    • Manage successful transition from Projects to Managed Service.
    • Identify new opportunities working through Service Delivery Managers and Customer Success teams for Version 1 portfolio accounts.
    • Actively support of pre-sales activity to generate pipeline projects/engagements directly or via portfolio team.
    • Resource planning including mobilisations, rotations and new hires.
    • Forecasting of portfolio revenue, costs and GP.
    • Contribute to strategy & innovation planning for next generation of Managed Services.
    • Ensure Customer satisfaction where engagement is primary Version 1 deliverable.
    • Ensure adherence to Delivery Assurance processes with expected outputs delivered as required.
    • Manage staff engagement for teams across projects within ERP Managed Services Practice.
    • Promotion of Version 1 brand within portfolio customers and across the wider market.
    • Visible and effective champion of Version 1 Core Values.

    Qualifications

    • Excellent Oracle Apps experience
    • Extensive experience of E-Business Suite
    • Knowledge of Cloud SaaS
    • 5+ years in a leadership position
    • Experience leading teams of 10+ people
    • Extensive knowledge of the customer
    • Project Management Experience
    • Strong communication skills
    • Strong problem solving skills
    • Ability to multi-task multiple assignments

    This is a full-time permanent role with occasional client site travel (when possible). Expenses will be covered.  Birmingham office or London office base but all remote working currently
