    Your role in the team

     

     

     

    A great opportunity for a passionate software developer to become part of an established scrum team focusing on developing and supporting two user facing applications. The candidate will have the opportunity to develop their career & improve on their skills as part of all phases of the software development lifecycle through the development, including planning, development, requirements management, quality assurance, and release management.

     

     

    • Utilize agile stories and designs to develop accurate, defect-free code 
    • Create and update technical documentations using high level technical specification documents 
    • Create unit test plans and conduct unit testing accordingly 
    • Participate in planning with the Product Owner to understand business needs
    • Participate in daily product stand up meetings
    • Participate in sprint/release retrospectives

     

     

     

    So, what are the essential criteria to apply?

     

     

    • All candidates must evidence an existing right to work in the UK
    • Proven Node.js developer experience 
    • Experience with Agile development methodologies and tools (e.g. VersionOne, Confluence)
    • Good verbal and written communication skills

     

     

     

     

    We also have some desirable criteria

     

     

    • Familiarity with source control solutions (e.g. git, GitHub, Jenkins, Artifactory)
    • Demonstrate knowledge of IT security best practices including operating systems and network security
    • Experience of SAP FSCD, Active Directory and Identity Management
    • Strong understanding of SOAP and REST API
    • Experience in automated testing using test frameworks - Mocha, Chai, CodeceptJS etc.
