    Your role in the team

     

     

    Direct Sales Service & Marketing Technology (DSS&MT) delivers solutions that enable Marketing to beat the competition Online. The DSS&MT Discovery and Framing Systems Analyst provides technical leadership from project inception through rollout, creating high-level technical requirements and designs to develop and support optimal IT solutions by applying knowledge of business processes and systems architecture.

     

    The Discovery and Framing Systems Analyst creates high-level technical design for high complexity projects and maintenance efforts by analyzing requirements and systems architecture, consulting with technology partners and validating tool standards. The Analyst reviews and evaluates mitigation efforts for design constraints and/or risks and leads design reviews to develop and support optimal IT solutions.

     

    The Analyst executes IT best practices and benchmarking, testing, problem resolution and change analysis and partners with Architecture, technology leadership, vendors and other stakeholders to align projects, technology needs, and training.  

     

     

     

    Responsibilities include (but are not limited to)

     

     

     

    The DSS&MT Discovery and Framing Systems Analyst Job Description involves the following job duties and accountabilities. 

     

     

    • Create the high-level technical design for one or more complex projects and difficult maintenance efforts by analyzing and tracing designs to requirements (business and functional) and systems architecture. 
    • Responsible for creation of roadmaps, leading design reviews, and performing analysis for one or more applications
    • Manage design reviews, application design impacts between concurrent releases, and technical walkthroughs.
    • Understand the technical details, integration, and functions of multiple applications, hardware, and/or software within a team. Execute and enforce best practices. Responsible to identify and design for non-functional requirements.
    • Assist with detailed project estimating and milestone planning.  Review and validate accuracy of others’ estimates. Track the critical path across project teams and communicate the technical progress of the project.
    • Recommend technology solutions to meet business requirements. Partner with Business Analysts and possibly clients to improve business requirements and business process flows.
    • Evaluate Proof of Concepts (POCs) and validate that code delivers design intent.
    • Implement technical process improvements.

     

     

     

     

     

     

     

    So, what are the essential criteria to apply?

     

     

    • All candidates must evidence an existing right to work in the UK
    • A minimum of 5 years of systems design experience
    • Experience in moderate-to-complex application design in mid-size to-large-scale projects as the primary SA
    • Experience in understanding operational readiness requirements during the delivery project lifecycle, including proven examples of the design deliverables required in past deployments

     

     

     

     

    We also have some desirable criteria

     

     

    • Experience in project management
    • Emerging leadership skills in defining, creating and governing delivery proven practices that contribute to department delivery improvements
