  Job Description

  This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced BI developer of large scale data solutions. A permanent position, you will join a team delivering and managing transformative on-premise and cloud-hosted data solutions for Version 1 customers. 

  The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in implementing data visualisation solutions, along with data ingestion and transformation pipelines for large scale organisations. We are seeking someone with deep technical skills in a variety of technologies to play an important role in developing & supporting analytics solutions, across a range of customers and industries.

  Your main responsibilities will be:

  • Engaging with the customers to identify and deliver new insights to bring value to the business
  • Providing on-going support & continual service improvements for managed service customer solutions
  • Ability to engage and communicate effectively within a high-performance team.
  • Designing and implementing business intelligence & data visualisation solutions.
  • Data modelling and data architecture design and implementation.
  • Analysis of requirements and production of specifications and reports.
  • Documentation of solution (e.g. data models, configurations, and setup etc.).
  • Working within a project management/agile delivery methodology,

  Qualifications

  You will ideally have experience in building solutions using modern business intelligence tools and reporting technologies

  Essential: 

  • Hands-on experience with business intelligence & data visualisation tools, data modelling, data staging, and data extraction processes including SQL.
  • Demonstrated experience in Microsoft PowerBI, Qlik or Tableau.
  • Experience developing and maintaining Data Warehouses and ETL processes.
  • Data model design experience, working with star schemas, facts and dimensions.
  • Experience of working in a team of technical resources.

  Desirable: 

  • Previous experience working in a managed service or customer support environment.
  • Business intelligence and/or data visualisation certification.
  • Experience working on projects across a variety of industry sectors.
  • Experience in Azure Analytics (Data Factory, Synapse, Analysis Services.
