    Your role in the team

     

     

    Allstate is seeking an experienced and talented Office 365 Security Administrator to join our Office 365 Core Tenant Team. 

     

     

    The Office 365 Tenant Security Administrator will play a central role in leveraging the Microsoft Office 365 platform, partnering with Allstate Security teams providing guidance and support in implementing security focused solutions and automation using the Office 365 tool set.  The Office 365 Tenant Security Administrator will be responsible for all stages of security requirements gathering, delivery, and support of solutions that meet business needs using the M365 Product set.

     

     

    • O365 logging, monitoring and alerting across the Office 365 ecosystem including Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, OneDrive and MS Teams including the creation of dashboards, alerting and Incidents
    • To align with Microsoft Office tenant cyber security architecture, plans, controls, processes, policies and procedures with cyber security standards and operational goals.
    • Identifying security issues within the O365 ecosystem and partnering with security teams and / or architecture to have these remediated
    • Exhibit an understanding of existing and emerging strategies for Microsoft Office 365 products; provide thought leadership by identifying and developing opportunities for their use and drive changes 
    • Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines 
    • Troubleshoot technical issues, perform root cause analysis and take appropriate action to remediate issues 
    • Ability to use Enterprise level tools such as GitHub and / or Jenkins to create and manage scripts and automation pipelines for software build, integration and deployment  
    • PowerShell – Automation & Reporting
    • Ability to create and maintain clear, detailed, concise documentation
    • Provide support to all areas of the business and will mentor, train and foster other support tiers 
    • Develop and maintain documentation pertaining to standards, procedures and techniques for solution development, administration, change management, and problem resolution 

     

     

     

    So, what are the essential criteria to apply?

     

     

     

    • All candidates must evidence an existing right to work in the UK'
    • 4+ years’ experience in technical role with a minimum of 3+ years Azure / Office 365 experience
    • Working security knowledge of Microsoft 365 Product set including MS Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Power Automate, MS Teams, MS Forms, MyAnalytics, PowerApps, Microsoft Graph API amongst others
    • Experience writing or knowledge of PowerShell scripts for maintenance, management, and automation, using the SharePoint Online Management Shell
    • Experience with Software Development Life Cycle and iterative development methodologies such as Agile, with the ability to transform documented use cases into prototypes and finished solutions 
    • Understanding of DevOps framework and Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) pipelines using Jenkins and GitHub
    • Exceptional interpersonal skills, including presentation and communication skills at all levels  
    • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and collaboratively on a team developing meaningful relationships to achieve common goals and project milestones

     

     

     

     

    We also have some desirable criteria

     

     

    • 3+ years of experience developing and implementing Microsoft 365 security-based solutions
    • Microsoft Azure certification (Security Administrator Associate) or equivalent cloud security related qualifications.
    • Proven technical proficiency of Microsoft Cloud Technologies with emphasis on developing security-based solutions, in alignment with Allstate M365 Architectural strategy, including using PowerShell and web technologies including such as Rest API
    • 3rd level qualification in Computer Science or equivalent technology subject area
    • Current Microsoft Certifications
