    Your role in the team

     

    Data is central to Allstate’s transformation of the customer experience. Tableau is a market leading data visualization tool and one of several key applications supported by the Data Viz team. 

     

    We are looking for a self-motivated, forward thinking individual to support, maintain and optimize the Tableau Infrastructure environment to enhance use satisfaction. 

     

    Within the Data Viz team we are passionate about empowering our support team and we work to the principal of “maintain and improve”.

     

    •  Support and maintain the current infrastructure environment.
    • Optimize the performance of the current infrastructure.
    • Provide support in resolving technology issues 
    • Review and update the environment to the best, stable, most resent version.
    • Collaborate effectively with other teams (internal and external)
    • Where possible, Automate.

     

     

    So, what are the essential criteria to apply?

     

    • All candidates must evidence an existing right to work in the UK
    • Minimum of 4 years’ experience supporting and maintaining infrastructure environments
    • 2 years+ Experience with reporting tools; and
    • 2 years+ Experience with Windows servers; and
    • Experience in connecting to multiple data sources

     

     

     

    We also have some desirable criteria

     

    • Experience in updating and maintaining clustered environments
    • Experience in scripting and automating maintenance tasks.
    • Experience in other BI systems, including Business Objects, Power BI and Tableau
    • Database experience SQL and/or Oracle
    • Experience in Cloud technology 
    • The ability to work with a multi-disciplinary team, sharing and promoting professional development, collaboration and enhancement of the team as a whole.
