Applied Systems, Inc., a worldwide leader in insurance technology, is currently searching for a C# Developer for our Epic insurance software product development team. You will be part of an Agile Scrum team that develops and maintains our software using C#, VB.Net, Visual Studio, and SQL Server. You will collaborate with Product Owners and Scrum team members to deliver high quality technical solutions that answer our clients’ business requirements.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Become a dedicated participant of an Agile Scrum team
- Collaborate with other members of the Scrum team to self-manage feature development to completion
- Participate in sprint reviews of completed functionality at the end of each sprint
- Identify and communicate possible improvements in the work process for customers and peers
- Mentor and guide junior level developers
QUALIFICATIONS FOR THIS JOB
- Ideally Educated to degree level (BSc or BEng) or equivalent in Computer Science or a related discipline
- 3+ years of programming experience using C# or VB.Net, SQL Server, and Visual Studio
- Experience working in an Agile Scrum or Kanban environment
- Ability to work with others in a team-oriented environment
- Possess a strong work ethic and able to deliver solutions in committed timeframes
- Expert troubleshooting skills and research abilities
- Must possess strong communications skills
