    Your role in the team

     

     

    We are looking for a talented Senior Financial Analystto join our growing Investments Finance team, delivering meaningful reporting, analysis and processes for a Fortune 100 company.

     

    In Investments Finance, we work with talented individuals who come together as a team to provide accounting, planning and analysis, financial reporting, valuation, research and project management for the Allstate Investments organization. Allstate Investments has decades of experience pursuing strategies in a broad array of asset classes and geographies in both the public and private markets.     • Providing financial analysis to support external reporting on Investments for The Allstate Corporation and its subsidiaries as required by to the Securities Exchange Commission (SEC - GAAP) and National Association of Insurance Commission (NAIC - Statutory). 
    • Reporting and analyzing financial data, capital related and statistical projects 
    • Investigating basic financial and/or statistical issues and questions
    • Participating and completing adhoc projects/requests
    • Preparing monthly, quarterly, annual reports and presentations of a financial nature
    • Working closely with management teams and key stakeholders in the organization
    • Review documented procedures for accuracy/completeness, update as necessary
    • Promote team culture and positively motivate colleagues to achieve optimal team performance
    • Identify and execute process improvements

     

     

     

    So, what are the essential criteria to apply?

     

     

    • All candidates must evidence an existing right to work in the UK; and
    • A degree in Finance, Economics, Accountancy, or similar discipline, or
    • A non-finance degree supported by a post-graduate qualification in finance or accountancy; and
    • At least 2 years’ experience in a Finance/Accountancy role; and
    • Applicants must be willing and eligible to travel to the USA

     

     

    We also have some desirable criteria

     

    • Having a logical and analytical approach
    • Good problem-solving skills with an attention to detail
    • Strong organizational and time management skills
    • Ability to communicate well, build relationships and work as part of a remote team
    • Familiar with Microsoft Office and the ability to analyze, manipulate, and interpret large amounts of data
    • Strong Microsoft Office Excel skills
