    Your role in the team

    We are delighted to be offering an exciting opportunity to join an existing and experienced Product team as a Product Manager in Claims Tech Solutions. We are looking for an ambitious product leader, who can work collaboratively alongside a number of product teams and support Product Managers in the wider team through coaching & mentoring

    • Support multiple product teams at a strategic level, and provide coaching & mentoring to other Product Managers in the team 
    • Define and articulate product vision and roadmaps 
    • Create, refine and own a product team backlog using detailed persona-driven stories, supporting a full-stack XP agile team 
    • Translate complex topics into a set of independent, small, testable stories 
    • Work collaboratively with others and navigate complex decision making and influence product strategy 
    • Work closely with product leadership in order to align product roadmap with portfolio-level goals & objectives 
    • Care about the ‘why’ and use data analysis and customer research in order to make informed data-driven decisions (for example: frame a build vs. buy decision and use KPIs to evaluate a direction) 
    • Partner with UX design in order to form a deep understanding our customer needs, and prototype and iterate on solutions. 
    • Able to define and use metrics as a basis for future product related decisions and measuring product success 
    • Promote team culture and health through regular retrospectives and open discussion 
    • Be an advocate for improvement and share new and alternative methods for product delivery – We love creativity. 
    • Work directly with product leadership at a portfolio level to assist with resourcing & prioritization, so we’re always focused on the right thing, at the right time. 
    • Be a role model for product management practices that others can aspire to.    

    The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate the following: 
     

    • As a digital product manager, you will be empowered to create, drive and execute product strategy for one or more direct products in our growing digital product ecosystem. 
    • You will collaborate with customers to understand their needs & habits to product concepts and/or to release product iterations. 
    • People will look to you as the Voice of the Customer. 
    • You will be responsible for business case(s) and roadmaps that demonstrate how activities will meet KPIs and deliver customer and enterprise value. 
    • Understanding of lean concepts such as using MVPs to validate assumptions, fail fast and delivering simplicity of design 
    • Familiar with, (or passionate about!) design-thinking, and applying practical customer-centered-design techniques, such as customer journey mapping, in order to learn more about customers and to gather their feedback to product concepts/iterations.  
    • Entrepreneurial with a strong inclination towards action and leadership in ambiguous situations 
    • Be a voice for our customers! 
    • Drive change, and challenge processes! 
    • Bring your passion, creativity and ambition into our team culture 

    So, what are the essential criteria to apply?

    • All candidates must evidence an existing right to work in the UK
    • A minimum of 5 years  I.T. experience 
    • Minimum of 18 months recent experience in a product focused role  
    • Be able to demonstrate a passion for learning and learning agility; and 
    • Excellent communications skills; and 
    • Ability to be self-directed and to proactively anticipate problems and seek opportunities.  

    We also have some desirable criteria

    • Previous Product Manager/Owner experience    
    • Previous experience working with an agile delivery methodology
