    Job Description

    We are seeking an experienced Pre-Sales Consultant to join our successful ERP Practice team. You will liaise with the Sales team to support both small and large bids. Ensure bid project plan created and submitted by Account Manager. Identify and secure resources required to support the bid. Ensure timescales are achievable. Identify and secure all demonstration systems required (EBS, Cloud etc.)Respond to requirements in a timely manner. Report issues and concerns to the Bid Manager in a timely manner

    In addition, you will provide input to the pre-qualification process to ensure all bids are fully qualified and identified as winnable Liaise with the Delivery team to identify and secure resources for bid preparation:

    • Managed Services
    • Functional resources
    • Project Management
    • Specialist skills

    You will respond to detailed Requirements documents. Assist or lead in preparing Bid Documentation. Review Bid Documentation prepared by other Account Managers or Sales Support team. On occasion act as Bid Manager and/or Solution Architect for tenders. 

    Prepare and deliver Client presentations for E-Business Suite

    Preparation and delivery of presentations at various events including:

    • Version 1 Apps Day
    • Sales Meetings
    • Marketing campaigns
    • Key Version 1 and Oracle Customer events

    Provide support to other Version 1 staff for delivery of Prospect and Client presentations

    Liaise with Oracle Account Managers and Sales Support teams to ensure successful delivery of presentations to Prospects and Clients

    Creation and maintenance of material to be utilised within the bid process and other areas of the Sales team such as:

    • Templated Bid documentation
    • Value Add documentation
    • Input to Case Studies and other Marketing material

    Qualifications

    Preferably prior experience in a Sales Support role and be commercially aware of the requirements of an ERP solution provider

    Excellent knowledge of Oracle ERP Applications (E-Business Suite essential, some knowledge of Peoplesoft and JD Edwards would be great) for both Implementation and Managed Services

    The ability to confidently present live product demonstrations of Oracle solutions.

    Strong presentation skills and the ability to convey the benefits of the software being proposed

    Strong written skills in order to complete tender and internal documentation to a high level

    Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to engage at all levels across an organisation from end-user to IT / Finance Directors

    Ability to keep to tight deadlines in a bid situation

    Ability to act as a Solution Architect at either pre or post-tender stages.

    Strong MS office skills
