  Job Description

  This role is within our Advisory Services team, a group of experienced Consultants and Architects who advise our clients and work closely with our internal commercial teams and technical consultants. This diverse and challenging role will be responsible for helping to grow, drive and differentiate Version 1 as part of our wider and ambitious corporate growth plans.

  Job Description

  • Shaping Digital Strategy for medium and large organisations in the Public & Private sector
  • Define Digital strategies and solutions for a range of customer and prospect requirements and use cases.
  • Develop digital architectures across multiple technology platforms and contexts depending on the client needs
  • Initiate, support and lead pre-sales discussions with clients and internal stakeholders
  • Work with business users to elicit requirements & develop design specifications
  • Lead and contribute to bid responses and proposals in the digital and other transformational contexts
  • Interact and advise C-Suite level clients how IT can deliver to deliver business benefit to their organisations
  • Develop innovative, effective architectures and solution designs, including technology and managed services projects
  • Introduce technology trends and drive innovation in technology and solution delivery strategies
  • Contribute to organisational thought leadership, strategy and technology initiatives in areas of solution digital transformation
  • Identify, evaluate, and recommend technology, product solutions and services

  Qualifications

  We would like to speak to you if you have the following:

  • Experience in leading, defining and delivering Enterprise Architecture and IT Solution Strategy activity
  • Excellent customer-facing communication, presentation skills and technical writing capability for tender responses, bids, and proposals
  • Cloud platform and architectures – one or more of Azure, AWS, OCI, Google Cloud platforms including PaaS and SaaS solution technologies. Deep demonstrable awareness, understanding and experience of digital cloud, mobile, IoT and integration solution designs and trends, especially within Enterprise Cloud environments
  • Experience in one of the following areas:
    • In-depth design, architecture and delivery experience with one or more of the following:
      •  IoT Technologies and platforms e.g., AWS IoT, Azure IoT Hub, Azure IoT Suite
      • Mobile Platforms
      • Digital Workplace Solutions (Microsoft Power Apps, Microsoft Dynamics 365
      • NoSQL and Big Data database platforms and technologies
    • Practical experience of automation technologies (AI, Machine Learning, Bot Technologies, Process Automation)
    • Possession of current relevant Vendor Architect Certifications in one or more relevant technology platforms.
