    Your role in the team

    A great opportunity to become part of an established team focusing on Transformative Growth through support of the Internet Consumer Channel. The successful candidate will fulfill a key role within the team’s global workgroup, ensuring application availability and quality through all stages of the software development lifecycle. The position will ideally suit someone with a technical background, with an interest in enhancing their project management skills.

     

     

    Successful candidates will be challenged to:

    • Participate in creating & presenting technical design documents that support and meet solution requirements.
    • Support Incident, Problem, Change and Configuration Management.
    • Support application availability objectives and mitigate risks.
    • Co-ordinate application upgrades and Lifecycle projects and tasks.
    • Create and coordinate reporting needs for system performance, capacity and key business metrics.
    • Provide detailed estimates for assigned work units, ensuring appropriate time is allocated to assigned tasks.
    • Participate in on call rotation and provide ad hoc out of hours support when needed.

     

     

    So, what are the essential criteria to apply?

     

    • All candidates must evidence an existing right to work in the UK
    • Prior experience of Production Support processes, particularly in the areas of incident and problem management
    • 4+ years’ IT experience

     

     

    We also have some desirable criteria

    • Agile/Scrum workflow management (VersionOne, Confluence)
    • Source control and Continuous Integration tools (GitHub, Jenkins, Octopus)
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills including the ability to effectively collaborate & present with groups at all organisational levels
