    Your key responsibilities

    Internal Responsibilities

     

    • Agile Delivery Management Lead, with responsibility for increasing Agile capability within the TE team;
    • Develop, maintain and deliver a strategy and plan for continual improvement of Agile competence;
    • Coach and develop others within the team and outside of the team in Agile tools and techniques;
    • Build valued relationships with clients and colleagues to assist in generating new business opportunities for EY;
    • Lead and support presentations and proposals for elements of medium to high complex projects to prospective and existing clients;
    • Assist in client account management activities such as recruitment for the project team, managing financial aspects of client engagements, and quality and risk management;
    • Communicate effectively with EY senior management and work to build, manage and motivate high-performing teams;
    • Understand EY’s service offerings and actively identifying opportunities to better serve our clients;
    • Build strong internal relationships within EY’s Consulting practice and across other services lines;
    • Support team development activities, including:
    •       Supporting, coaching, and mentoring activities;
    •       Conducting performance reviews and contributing to performance feedback;
    •       Contributing to people initiatives including recruiting, retaining and training activities;
    •       Understanding, following and communicating workplace policies and procedures.

    Client Responsibilities:

    • Managing and delivering large-scale digital transformation programmes using Agile delivery methodologies – including SAFe, Evergreen and DevOps
    • Delivery of projects to time, cost and quality;
    • Leading the delivery of major project and programme activities in an Agile environment, including business process design, testing and end user training involving multiple cross functional stakeholders.
    • Building valued relationships with external clients and internal peers and developing a portfolio of business by focusing on high impact opportunities;
    • Ensuring the consistent delivery of excellent, high-quality work products by EY teams, providing a platform to build and maintain our global brand, reputation and purpose.
    • Acting as a subject matter resource in one or more areas, leveraging your knowledge and experience to shape services for clients;
    • Leading presentations and proposals for medium to high complex projects and providing subject matter insight to bids and proposals in relevant areas;
    • Creating innovative commercial insights for clients, adapting methods and practices to fit operational team and cultural needs, and contributing to thought leadership; 
    • Driving improvements by taking responsibility for engagement / account level Quality & Risk Management (QRM) initiatives, ensuring that project teams understand and comply with our Q&RM requirements.

     Skills and attributes for success


    To do this role effectively, we are looking for people with knowledge and experience in the following areas:

    To qualify for the role you must have

    • Approximately 10-15 years’ experience of managing and delivering large scale projects in the digital and/or online application sectors using Agile.
    • A thorough understanding of the digital application development process with specific emphasis on websites, mobile and connected device applications.
    • Experience in writing and reviewing technical and functional specifications and wireframes.
    • Recognised expert and advocate for Agile tools and techniques.
    • Deep experience of Agile coaching across all levels of an organisation.
    • Experience of managing teams, organisational development, culture change, and change management.
    • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills with a track record in managing complex stakeholder programmes.
    • Good understanding of project governance and change management principles.
    • Strong 3rd level educational qualifications.
    • Must be Scrum Master certified

     

    Ideally, you’ll also have

     

    • Additional professional qualifications, such as PRINCE2®, PMP are desirable.

     

    Please note that this role is currently remote due to current circumstances however when office work is resumed, travel will be required throughout the Island of Ireland.
