Scrum Master / Agile Lead

    At EY, we are expanding our Consulting practice and specifically building our Technology Consulting (TC) team. Due to this expansion we are seeking to recruit high achieving Scrum Master Agile Lead to be part of our growing business and to support us in our NextWave Strategy.

    Your key responsibilities

    • Leads and coaches agile teams
    • Creates a high performance self-managed dynamic team minimising impediments to development progress
    • Drives team by applying the agile process to achieve an optimised work-flow through continuous improvement
    • Supports team goals and coordinates activities with other teams
    • Help teams improve and take responsibility for their actions to deploy agile values, principles and practices
    • Support Product Owner in the backlog management
    • Apply team-building techniques to improve performances
    • Promote continuous learning and professional development of team members
    • Ensure continuous improvement of software quality
    • Support team self-defined processes and rules
    • Facilitate regular team meetings, including daily stand-up, Iteration planning, team demo, and retrospective iteration
    • Create and manage a test plan
    • Manage and evaluate the test process
    • Design tests of ; Prepare and conduct tests
    • Report and document tests and results
    • Explain and communicate the design / development to the customer
    • Perform and evaluate test results against product specifications
    • Apply appropriate software and / or hardware architectures
    • Identify potential win-win opportunities for customer and own organisation
    • Establish realistic expectations to support development of mutual trust
    • Monitor ongoing commitments to ensure fulfilment

    Skills and attributes for success

    • Extensive knowledge of project management standards, processes, procedures and guidelines
    • Minimum of 5 years of solid practical experience in managing complex projects
    • Knowledge of the industry project management best practices, (PMBOK, SAFe, etc.)
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
    • Well-developed leadership and problem-solving skills, including the ability to help the team in handling failures and setbacks to the teams effective performance

    To qualify for the role you must have

    • The ability to understand and to relate effectively to the business, technical and organisational context in which the team is operating
    • Excellent facilitation skills
    • Ability to facilitate team learning and continuous improvement in operating Scrum and in implementing and improving relevant practices
    • Relevant Agile certification or recognized Scrum Master certification
