Senior Project & Programme Manager

    At EY, we are expanding our Consulting practice and specifically building our Technology Consulting (TC) team. Due to this expansion we are seeking to recruit high achieving Senior Project / Programme Manager to be part of our growing business and to support us in our NextWave Strategy.

     Your key responsibilities

    • Define the project and preparing high-level plan, budget and resource estimates Managing all phases of project delivery from Preparation to Execution to Transition, ensuring stage gate controls and relevant sign offs are in place throughout the project;
    • Managing the delivery of project milestones and deliverables and delivering an outcome that is capable of achieving the benefits defined in the Business Case, at the appropriate level of quality;
    • Ensuring required resources are identified and available to the project, as required;
    • Leading and motivating project team members to ensure a sense of team and a clear understanding of goals and objectives;
    • Identifying and managing Stakeholders, and ensuring regular and timely communications at all levels;
    • Managing Risks and Issues and escalate appropriately;
    • Preparing and maintaining project documentation, including Risk Register, Issue Register, Daily Log, etc.;
    • Managing Change Control procedures and Project Governance and ensuring Project Boards are set up and working effectively;
    • Managing all vendors delivering to the project.
    • Adhere to EY policies, guidelines and standards in relation to Project Management.

    Skills and attributes for success

    • Experience of using Waterfall and Agile methodologies - PRINCE2, SAFe;
    • Strong experience of delivering projects across a wide range of technologies and complex IS landscapes;
    • Experience of all phases of project delivery from Preparation to Execution to Transition, ensuring stage gate controls and relevant sign offs are in place throughout the project;
    • Experience of the delivery of project milestones and deliverables and delivering an outcome that is capable of achieving the benefits defined in the Business Case, at the appropriate level of quality;
    • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills;
    • Excellent analytical and problem solving skills;
    • Highly organised planning and time management skills with excellent attention to detail;

    To qualify for the role you must have

    • 10+ years of experience managing medium to large size projects
    • Project Management accreditation - PRINCE2, SAFe
    • Experience of developing process maps, flow charts, user requirements documentation.
