    Job Description

    As a Financial Analyst, the successful candidate will be part of a team based in Belfast working closely with a US based team.

    The Financial Analyst is responsible for providing timely and accurate expense information, producing reports and analysis to help support business decisions.

    Responsibilities include (but aren't limited to):

    • Financial reporting and meaningful analysis to support business decisions
    • Forecasting, planning and variance analysis
    • Investigate financial issues and questions
    • Participate and complete adhoc projects/requests
    • Work closely with management teams and key stakeholders in the organization.
    • Prepare monthly, quarterly, annual reports and presentations of a financial nature
    • Ensure credibility by providing high quality (accurate, timely, relevant) financial measurement, reporting, planning and consulting 

    Essential Criteria

    • Must be an EU citizen or possess a current UK Tier 1 Visa or Tier 2 visa and eligible to take up full time, permanent employment. EU candidates must also demonstrate they are eligible to take up UK employment post-Brexit.
    • A degree in Finance related discipline; or
    • A degree in a non-finance related discipline but supported with an industry qualification within a finance or accountancy related discipline; and
    • At least 18 months experience in a Finance/Accountancy role
    • Proven commercial experience with Microsoft Excel and the ability to analyze, manipulate, and interpret large amounts of data; and
    • Applicants must be willing and eligible to travel to the USA

    Desirable Criteria

    • Having a logical and analytical approach.
    • Good problem-solving skills with an attention to detail.
    • Strong organizational and time management skills.
    • Ability to communicate well, build relationships and work as part of a team.
    • Experience using EPM, BPC or Hyperion
    • Experience in using Tableau
