  Business Services Organisation (BSO) is part of Health and Social Care (HSC), the largest employer in Northern Ireland with approximately 70,000 staff covering all elements of the delivery of Health and Social care.

  BSO’s Information Technology Services provides a broad range of shared services including Enterprise IT services and the delivery of a range of transformational technology-led programmes and projects for use by all HSC organisations.

  BSO Information Technology Services has been operating successfully for more than 30 years and have a talented team of over 260 people, mostly based in central Belfast.

  We are recruiting IT professionals with experience in software development. There are a range of open roles depending on qualifications and experience: 

  • Developer (Band 5)

  Ideally you will have experience in modern web development using technologies such as asp.net/MVC and C# using an Agile approach, but candidates with experience in other software development technologies will also be considered.

  You will be working in a collaborative team environment and will be involved in all aspects of the project such as understanding requirements, code creation, testing and implementation. You will have the opportunity to make a real and meaningful contribution to the task of improving the health and well-being of people in N. Ireland.

  We offer a competitive salary with any required overtime paid at the appropriate rate and opportunities for accredited training.

  Starting salary: £22,795 - £29,315 (Band 5)
