    Information Services provides the digital campus and Library Resources to support teaching, research and innovation for all the University’s students, staff and visitors. Our primary objective is to provide the highest quality user-facing services and associated enabling functions.

    The team is based in the McClay Library and is organised into four main areas:

    • Library Services

    • IT Systems and Services

    • Learning and Teaching Support

    • Administration Support

    The post holder will work within the Learning and Teaching Support Division’s, Business Services team, on the implementation, development, administration and support of the University’s online business services and student recruitment management applications.

    The successful candidate must have:

    • A primary or higher honours degree or equivalent qualification in a discipline with a significant computing element. (At least 50%) OR At least 4 years professional development experience JavaScript, CSS and Microsoft .NET to develop online applications and services.

    • 3 years’ professional programming experience to include:

    a) The development of significant online applications and services using Microsoft .NET

    b) The development of high-quality content using, HTML, JavaScript and CSS

    • Knowledge of a modern CRM (e.g. Microsoft Dynamics, Salesforce)

    • Understanding of current web technologies and system development techniques, standards and practices.

    Salary scale:   £33,199 - £39,610 per annum (potential to progress to £43,266 per annum through sustained exceptional contribution)
