Key Responsibilities
- Grow and lead a team of designrs in building great products
- Oversight of projects both internally and externally
- Proactively shape and share the team's offering and culture
- Mentor junior staff and peers
Need to have
- A minimum of 8 years experience in the design industry
- An exceptionl understanding of how to deliver digital products and user experience
- Expertise with a UI design tool such as Sketch, Adobe Xd or Figma
- Experise with a prototyping tool such as Invision, Flinto, or Framer X
- A keen eye for detail and quality which should be refelected in outputs
- In-depth understanding of production pipeline process
- Experience leading product strategy
- Excellent communication skills
- Client facing experience
- Stakeholder engagement and management
- Experience of having built and manitained large design systems
- Evidence of taking a leadership role in a design team to deliver software to market
- Strong ability to communicate abstract concepts and advocate for art and design in a corporate environment
- Outstanding presentation skills and comforatble working directly with clients
Good to have
- Execllent understanding of atomic design and design systems
- Evidence of contribution to a personal project
- Track record of operating independently
- Previous experience as a head of design, or equivalent in an agency or working for a fast-paced client
- Experience working with web technologies, including HTML, CSS, SaaS, and Gulp
