Business Services Organisation is part of Health and Social Care which is the largest employer in Northern Ireland with approximately 70,000 staff covering all elements of the delivery of Health and Social care. BSO provides a broad range of regional business support functions and specialist professional services to the Health and Social care sector. This includes enterprise IT services including overseeing the delivery of a range of transformational technology-led programme and projects for use by all HSC organisations.
BSO Information Technology Services has a requirement for a programme manager to lead a multiyear programme to implement a single Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS) across Health and Social care. The programme is aimed at procuring and implementing a single standardised laboratory system which will be used across all HSC organisations. The successful applicant will be an information technology professional with experience of successful programme delivery.
BSO ITS also has a number of other 8B Programme Manager roles coming up in the near future. The intention is that a waiting list of suitable applicants will be created from this recruitment and used to fill those roles where appropriate.
