WPR is working closely with its New England head-quartered client, NantHealth, which has recently moved into state-of-the-art offices in Belfast. This is an opportunity for a Lead Software Engineer to go into a business experiencing rapid growth in the US market, and put their stamp on some of NantHealth's market-leading products. The role will appeal to candidates who have led a Software engineering team before, or who have been in a Senior/Principal position for some time.
Your duties will include the following:
- Give direction to software development team through the course of many projects
- Work with many stakeholder groups including customers, product teams and business leaders to ensure the development process reaches its full heights
- Work largely to ensure your development team hit targets and deadlines, but also keeping an eye on business goals as part of the management team
- Develop in a hands on capacity on a regular basis
Your Experience:
- To be considered for this role you will need to demonstrate the following criteria:
- BS degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or a related Engineering discipline with a minimum of 5 years relevant experience in software development
- Experience with C# or Java
- Experience with JavaScript, AngularJS, Bootstrap etc
- Experience with HTML and CSS
- Experience with databases such as MS SQL Server
- Experience with cloud frameworks such as docker, Mesos, Kubernetes
- Experience developing API’S and web based protocols such as REST, SOAP
- Action oriented with a focus on results
- Demonstrated positive work ethic with a strong commitment to achieving project goals
- Excellent written and oral communication and interpersonal skills are essential
