    Position Description:

At CGI, you’ll take ownership of high-impact public sector projects that deliver meaningful outcomes for organisations and the communities they serve. Based in Northern Ireland, you’ll lead complex delivery from initiation through to successful completion, bringing together clients, multidisciplinary teams and partners to turn objectives into measurable results. You’ll have the autonomy to make decisions, find creative solutions to delivery challenges and continuously improve how projects are managed, while being supported by CGI’s collaborative community of experts. This is an opportunity to lead with confidence, strengthen client relationships and use your project management expertise to make a lasting difference through technology-enabled transformation.

We offer a competitive salary, excellent pension, private healthcare, plus a share scheme (3.5% + 3.5% matching) which makes you a CGI Partner not just an employee. We are committed to inclusivity, building a genuinely diverse community of tech talent and inspiring everyone to pursue careers in our sector, including our Armed Forces, and are proud to hold a Gold Award in recognition of our support of the Armed Forces Corporate Covenant. Join us and you’ll be part of an open, friendly community of experts. We’ll train and support you in taking your career wherever you want it to go.

From initiation through to closure, you’ll manage scope, schedules, budgets, resources, quality and dependencies, establishing effective governance and maintaining a clear view of progress throughout the project lifecycle.
You’ll work closely with client stakeholders, CGI colleagues, multidisciplinary delivery teams and third-party partners. You’ll have the freedom to find pragmatic solutions to emerging challenges while drawing on the expertise of a supportive wider team. Through clear communication, effective financial management and proactive risk management, you’ll maintain delivery momentum and client confidence while identifying opportunities to continually improve project outcomes.

    • Control & Adapt – Manage project change through clear impact assessment, approval and control processes.
    • Manage & Forecast – Own project budgets, actuals, forecasts and variances while identifying and addressing financial risks.
    • Engage & Influence – Build strong relationships with client stakeholders, suppliers and delivery partners, managing expectations and supporting effective decisions.
    • Report & Communicate – Produce accurate management information and clearly communicate project performance, risks, issues and decisions.
    • Collaborate & Resolve – Bring multidisciplinary teams and partners together to overcome challenges and maintain delivery momentum.
    • Improve & Innovate – Identify opportunities to strengthen delivery practices, improve the client experience and achieve better project outcomes.
