    Due to the secure nature of some of our work, you will need to hold UK Security Clearance or be eligible to go through this clearance. This is a hybrid position.

    Your future duties and responsibilities:

    In this role, you will act as a key enabler within cloud-native delivery teams, helping to design, build, and optimise platforms that support rapid and reliable software delivery. You will work closely with developers, architects, and stakeholders to implement automated, scalable infrastructure and guide teams on best practices across the platform lifecycle. From improving CI/CD pipelines to enhancing system reliability, you will take ownership of delivering efficient, high-quality solutions that directly impact client outcomes.
    You will also contribute to continuous improvement by automating processes, supporting junior team members, and collaborating across disciplines to ensure seamless delivery in an Agile environment.
    • Design & Enable scalable cloud platforms across AWS, Azure, or GCP
    • Automate & Optimise infrastructure using Terraform, Ansible, and Bicep
    • Build & Maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitLab CI, or GitHub Actions
    • Collaborate & Guide development teams on deployment best practices
    • Analyse & Improve system performance, reliability, and release processes
    • Manage & Orchestrate containerised environments using Docker and Kubernetes
    • Troubleshoot & Resolve build and deployment issues using logs and monitoring tools
    • Engage & Deliver client-focused solutions aligned to business requirements
    • Support & Mentor junior engineers within Agile teams

    Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

    To succeed, you will bring strong experience in platform engineering or DevOps within cloud-native environments, alongside a proactive approach to automation, collaboration, and continuous improvement. You should be confident working across infrastructure, tooling, and development teams, with the ability to influence and deliver high-quality platform solutions.
    • You should have experience working in Agile development teams
    • Proven experience delivering cloud-native infrastructure and configurations
    • Strong knowledge of infrastructure as code tools (Terraform, Ansible, Bicep)
    • Hands-on experience with AWS, Azure, and/or GCP
    • Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions)
    • Solid troubleshooting and debugging skills
    • Proficiency in scripting or programming languages (Python, Bash, PowerShell, Java, Go, etc.)
    • Experience with Git-based source control systems (GitHub, GitLab, Bitbucket, Azure DevOps)
    • Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience
