New role: Multi-Media Content Creator, Sync NI
The Multi-Media Content Creator will be responsible for the creation and publishing of rich content across Sync NI’s digital platforms and social media channels.
Strong video editing and photography skills, experience and knowledge of current design software and experience publishing across a range of social media platforms in a professional setting in addition to digital marketing techniques. We therefore welcome applicants with a background or relevant experience in Digital Media Production, Marketing, or Multi Media Journalism.
If you have a deep understanding and enthusiasm for scheduling social media (channels include: LinkedIn, X, Facebook and TikTok) and strong video content creation and video editing skills, then we are interested in hearing from you.
The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate:
· A strong news sense and understanding of our audience as well as an ability to identify a news story and follow up on leads;
· Strong video (producing and editing) and photography skills including podcast production, experience and knowledge of current design software such as Adobe Creative Suite, InDesign, Illustrator, Canva, Photoshop, Riverside podcast producing programme;
· An understanding of the creative and production process to produce engaging video content and imagery across digital channels and social media platforms and knowledge of content management systems;
· Proficiency in the use of IT packages including Microsoft Office and strong Excel skills;
· Ability to develop and manage an editorial calendar;
· Highly organised and an ability to work to tight deadlines and manage multiple tasks;
· Possess a high level of communication and interpersonal skills;
· The ability to work independently and well as being a supportive team player as part of a small but dynamic team;
· An interest in and knowledge of Northern Ireland’s technology and business industries;
· An ability to write engaging, accurate content and create compelling social media posts;
· Proof-reading skills and a strong understanding of Sync NI tone and style;
· An understanding of media law;
· Clear, concise and engaging writing style.

Responsibilities
· Managing production and distribution of compelling multimedia content across digital platforms and social media platforms (LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, TikTok);
· Monitor, measure and report performance and engagement across all digital and social platforms;
· Completing light administration work as needed to support the business;
· Create compelling multi-media content for both online and offline platforms;
· Help to grow our online audience through contributing to our social media platforms; website; video content and contribute to podcasts.

Salary: Dependent on experience.
