Automation Test Engineer

    Core responsibilities include:

    • Develop and Maintain Automation Frameworks.
    • Contributing to design, developing, and executing of automated test scripts.
    • Integrate Automated Tests with CI/CD Pipelines.
    • Enhancing the team’s impact on software quality by collaborating in defect triage sessions, participating in quality gate evaluations, and delivering comprehensive Test Completion Reports with key quality metrics that support project goals.
    • Mentoring junior team members, providing guidance as needed.
    • Collaborating within Agile Squads to perform both development and test automation tasks.
    • Leveraging AI-driven testing tools and methodologies to improve automation, test coverage, and efficiency.
    • Identify and Implement Process Improvements.
    • Preparing for future career progression towards a Technical Test Lead role, with our full support for your development journey.

    Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

    We’re looking for someone who’s already making an impact and is ready to continue driving success. You’ll be responsible for your work across a variety of technologies in a fast-growing, innovative environment.

    The successful candidate will demonstrate a range of the following skills and experiences:

    • Proficiency in at least one programming language (e.g., Java, Python) and adaptability to learn new automation tools.
    • Experience with automation tools and frameworks, such as Selenium, Appium, JUnit, TestNG, Cypress, or Cucumber (BDD).
    • Experience with testing RESTful APIs.
    • Familiarity with tools such as Git, JMeter, Postman, Newman, RestAssured, ReadyAPI, and AI-driven testing platforms.
    • Strong understanding of Automation Testing within modern software development, particularly Agile methodologies.
    • Certifications including ISTQB Software Testing Foundation, ISTQB Advanced Technical Test Management, and ITIL Foundation.

    Desirable:

    • Knowledge of AI-driven testing techniques, including machine learning for predictive analytics and automated defect detection.
    • Familiarity with cloud-based testing environments.
    • Background in development coding.
    • Experience in integration and performance testing.
    • Experience in automation, AI-based testing, non-functional testing, or infrastructure testing is highly desirable.
