    Role Overview:

    The Markets Operations Transformation team has been formed to support stakeholders both within Operations and across the bank, to design and deliver this multi-year transformation roadmap. The role of this Business Intelligence Senior Analyst will be to support Operations Markets team to put in place to support implementation of our Data Analytics & Reengineering strategy across our teams. 

    What you’ll do:

    • Partner with senior management to execute the analytics agenda and prioritize highest value use cases.
    • Responsible for gathering and analysing data, providing reporting and dashboards to provide actionable insights for decision-making. 
    • Evaluate the need for analytics, assess the problems to be solved and what data sources to use or acquire.
    • Drive exploration/experimentation in visualization and review benefits and value of analytics techniques and tools and recommend improvements.
    • Produces detailed analysis of issues where the best course of action is not evident from the information available, but actions must be recommended/ taken.
    • Initial functional scope of this role will include all Business Intelligence functions for Markets Operations but may be subject to change as a result of business priorities, programme budgets and overall transformation priorities.

    What we’ll need from you:

    • Track record of delivering and managing large, technical data programs across multiple businesses and geographies
    • Demonstrated experience in delivering change
    • Ability to monitor tight deadlines
    • Strong collaboration, presentation, communication and coaching skills
    • Strong ability to establish strong effective working relationships at all levels of the organization
    • Demonstrated ability to work independently to deliver on strategic outcomes
    • Experience with BI tools such as Tableau, Power BI etc.
    • Experience with SQL is preferred


    Education:

    Bachelor’s/University degree or equivalent experience
