Senior Product Designer

    Who you’ll be working with:  

    You will partner with 2 Liberty IT software development team to build out a Fraud Intelligence platform. This is a new product with the potential to save our Insurance customers billions (!) of dollars through fraud prevention. 

     

    What you’ll be doing: 

    • Ensure the successful delivery of the user experience for projects of moderate complexity based on business objectives and user research. 
    • Apply user-centered design methods to frame and deliver the experience of the products we build to be useful, intuitive and enjoyable. 
    • Work closely with stakeholders and product owners, to provide insight into customer behavior, guide product focus and plan product features. 
    • Lead the discovery process and execute a variety of user research activities. Synthesize and communicate results of user research to make moderately complex design recommendations for impact. 
    • Design new high quality complex multi-step user flows, wireframes, concepts and prototypes using various design tools. 
    • Own the oversight of the defined UX standards and brand guidelines in the execution of interaction and visual design and serve as the subject matter expert in this area. Propose changes or new standards as needed and contribute to style guides 
    • Work collaboratively by sharing designs early and often, seeking constructive feedback and integrating feedback to improve the user experience. 
    • Support the team to develop, strengthen and align their ideas with business goals and user needs. 
    • Support team in implementing continuous improvement and actively seek to introduce new UX techniques. 
    • Continuously develop your skills and knowledge. 
    • Coach, mentor and provide feedback to team members and other designers. 
    • Actively seek opportunities for you and your team to collaborate with and learn from others across our organization through internal networks, events and communities of practice. 

     

    Experience and skills we need: 

    • Significant experience in the full design lifecycle, demonstrated through an up to date and current portfolio. 
    • Experience in using graphic software packages and prototyping tools such as Figma, XD or similar. 
    • Experience in applying industry recognised design and innovation processes, such as Double Diamond or similar, to create enterprise solutions. 
    • A minimum of 3 years’ experience designing full-service consumer and business applications. 
    • Experience and knowledge of the following UX disciplines: User Research, Interaction Design, Services Design, Visual Design and Front-end development (HTML & CSS).

    • Experience in partnering with business stakeholders and CIOs. 
    • A bachelor’s degree or industry recognised certifications in Interactive Multimedia Design or Design related disciplines.
