    Role Overview:

    The Lead Business Analyst possesses profound knowledge in their areas of expertise in Custody or Funds and helps organizations achieve their business goals by providing in-depth analysis of the requirement and problem statement in order for technology to recommend solutions that align with their strategic objectives. They can assess feasibility of the proposed technology solution, its implementation, and its interaction with the existing systems and improve the cost-effectiveness of the project/product they are involved in. 

     Data & Digital Team :

    Citi Velocity Clarity is an exciting product offering from the Data & Digital Business. The suite comprises of multiple innovative products including an NLP tool, Qlik Dashboards, and Report Designer, which provides Citi clients with differentiating and easy access to their data across multiple asset classes, offering data content from across Custody and Funds. The Data & Digital technology team is looking for a Business Analyst to lead a group of business analyst's and be part of the Data & Digital team in Belfast focusing on building out our Clarity Reporting Applications. We require a passionate and experienced individual who is keen to be part of the success of this venture.  


    Responsibilities:

    • Analyse and decompose complex business requirements.
    • Perform gap analysis and collaborate with technical resources on solution proposals.
    • Create functional specifications and prepare wireframes/flowcharts.
    • Communicate with the business and technical teams to ensure clear and shared understanding of requirements.
    • Oversee the development and validate the functionality of the end product as per the requirement specifications.
    • Prepare technical user manuals, system configuration documents and other technical reports.
    • Provide leadership and guidance to Team Members.

     

    Knowledge & Skills Required

    • Experience working in Custody or Funds projects.
    • Working knowledge of data and process modelling.
    • Experienced in database concepts like SQL.
    • Excellent interpersonal skills with strong spoken and written communication, and stakeholder management.
    • Ability to manage multiple tasks at once, in a highly regulated environment.
    • Proficient in MS Office and extensive experience in Excel for data analysis.

     

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or computer science or equivalent work experience
    • Certified in Agile / Scrum
