    Job Description

    Project managers at Version 1 are involved in delivering software projects through various methodologies, such as Waterfall or Agile depending on the customer and the project.

    You will be involved in project approvals to assess Change Requests and Project Proposals adequately. Proper resource management is essential to ensure that skilled personnel are available to deliver a successful portfolio of projects.

    The execution of the project portfolio will involve overseeing the implementation of solutions, resource management, scheduling, and financial aspects to ensure a smooth delivery of change.

    Additionally, it is necessary to analyze, assess, and resolve risks and issues that arise in all projects within the portfolio, through effective risk and issue management.

    Implementing, measuring, and maintaining quality processes and standards is another vital aspect of this role. Having a clear understanding of dependencies, deliverables, and issues is also critical, and forecasting can help predict potential problems and identify opportunities for improvement.


    • A recognised Project Management qualification such as Certified Scrum Master (CSM), Prince 2 or Agile Project Management Professional (APMG).
    • Significant Project Manager experience demonstrating successful delivery of material changes across an organisation.
    • Experience of methodologies and tools which support project delivery e.g. Waterfall/Agile, Confluence/JIRA/DevOps.
    • Evidence of shaping and implementing innovative solutions which challenge the status quo and prioritise customer experience.
    • Evidence of initiative-taking to bring out the best in others and solve business problems without compromising standards, integrity or culture.
    • Being part of the Delivery Team, facilitating the resolution of complex technical and business problems, which have an impact on technical and financial results of the company.
