Data Engineer

  • Why you’ll want to work with us

We are Northern Ireland’s leading bank.  And whilst we are proud to hold this title, we are so much more than a bank, we are a community.  We are a Bank that lives and breathes our values, committed to helping our customers, colleagues and society thrive.

We believe in what we do.  Diversity and Inclusion isn’t just something we talk about, we actually understand the benefits of diversity and see it as a strength.  We want our talent to come from a variety of backgrounds, not because it’s the right thing to do but because it makes us stronger.  After all, our customers come from all walks of life, so should our colleagues.

Is sustainability as close to your heart as it is to ours?  Did you know we are an environmental leadership award winning bank with a focus on sustainability and a desire to help our customers go green?  Having achieved the platinum standard in the Northern Ireland environmental bench marking survey and biodiversity charter, we have gone one step further and have set ourselves a target to be net zero by 2050.  We are currently on track to have all NI branches 100% fossil free by the end of 2022 and we are proud to be the first UK bank to offer certified carbon neutral mortgages.

We are passionate about helping our communities thrive and each year and believe that when colleagues get the opportunity to volunteer it creates value for society, our business and the individual.   Charity partnership is at that heart of our culture, having raised over £183k for our charity AWARE NI, and we have recently become a foundation partner with the charity SisterNI, a collaborative initiative aimed to empower future female leaders in education.

And on top of all that, we have a long history of supporting local sporting talent through Danske Bank Ulster Schools’ GAA, Ulster Schools Rugby and we are proud to have been the first bank in Europe to sponsor both mens’ and womens’ premiership football.

No wonder we are recognised as one of Northern Ireland’s top ten Best Companies to Work For.  So if you share our values and enthusiasm and all of what we stand for resonates with you, then you will find a home at Danske Bank.
