  • 2020 has seen social interactions restricted in an unprecedented way, but thankfully through the power of technology, we at Sync NI have still been able to create our first ever podcast series.

    This year journalist Niamh Campbell has week in and out talked to the most inspiring individuals within the tech and business world across Northern Ireland.

    Suzi Murtagh, Director of CTS (Claims Tech Solutions) at Allstate Northern Ireland is now managing over 160 people remotely and PwC NI’s Service Manager/Digital Accelerator Alex Hughes oversees all of the firm’s tech support operations.

    With a lot of articles circulating online on how to maintain the ‘new normal’ perfectly, it can put a lot of pressure on all parents that can lead to unnecessary stress on top of COVID-19 anxieties.

    #2 Tech Craic: Tom Gray - BelTech 2020 and NI's tech sector


    Niamh Campbell spoke with Tom Gray, Lead Curator of BelTech and Chief Technology Officer at Kainos, one of Northern Ireland’s largest homegrown tech firms.

    Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, BelTech went virtual for the first time ever and took place between Monday 22 and Thursday 25 June. Tom discussed with Niamh what attendees could expect, and also delves into the details of Northern Ireland's tech sector, as well as its potential future post-lockdown. 

    They also engage in how artificial challenge has helped in various ways during the coronavirus crisis, and other emerging technologies that are disrupting various industries.

    Journalist Niamh Campbell spoke with Terry Robinson, the CEO of global consulting firm, Vox Financial Partners.

    Originally from Northern Ireland, he now lives in the US and discusses growing up as a gay man in Belfast and his journey into the tech and finance world. 

    Terry co-founded Vox FP in 2015 following 22 years of experience in the industry.
