Women who shape Northern Ireland

Celebrating International Women in Engineering Day

In a recent survey of 300 female engineers, 84% said they were either happy or extremely happy with their career choice, yet the UK has the lowest percentage of female engineering professionals in Europe. In the run-up to International Women in Engineering Day, Arup invites you to explore how Northern Ireland can attract more women to engineering, retain them throughout their working lives, and celebrate the role they play in shaping Northern Ireland.

Hosted by Chris Caves, an Director based at Arup Belfast, we will hear from Deidre Mackle, Director of the Department for Infrastructure Rivers, Ashleen Feeney, Director at KPMG, Cathy Reynolds, Director of City Regeneration and Development at Belfast City Council and Diane Emerson, Associate Director in Arup Belfast.

Be inspired by our speakers' expertise and their passion for Transforming Northern Ireland.
