Women in Tech LOVE hosting a Lightning Talks Event!!

We had such a massive submission response for our March 2024 event, that we decided to run another one, the following month! This one will be on Thursday 25th April 2024 at 6pm- once again kindly hosted by the lovely PA Consulting in their fantastic Belfast City Centre office on Chichester Street.

We have been holding Workshops and Lightning Talks events for many years now, with the aim of encouraging more women to give technical talks. Female speaker representation in tech events and meetups have increased as a result.

We are keen to provide another event that will help female speakers practice their talks - in advance of upcoming 2024 tech events - OR just to give it a whirl anyway!

The talks should only be 3 to 5 minutes long – please submit your lightning talk idea here:

Doors 17.30 for 18.00 start. Food and drink (alcoholic and soft drinks, teas and coffees) will be provided. Gluten-free, vegetarian and vegan options will be available.

The Plan for the evening is:
5.30pm – 6.00pm – Food & drinks, Networking
6-00pm – 8.00pm – Lightning Talks
8.00pm – 9.00pm – Networking
