Invent is an annual competition that showcases and rewards local innovations and proof of concept ideas.

Over 100 applications answered our call to find the next big thing and as we approch our overall Invent final, we are giving the Student entries an extra opportunity. We have invited the top scoring student teams from our qualifying rounds to compete in a competition for a chance to be crowned Student Invent Winner 2019 and win £1000. Student Invent 2019 is sponsored by Ulster University.

The student teams will give a 3 minute pitch to a panel of expert judges and each team will have a showcase that you can visit to find out more. You'll also get to vote in an audience choice award!

Come along and watch the pitches , ask the teams about their idea and also get an opportunity to win two tickets to the main Invent Final on 10th October.
