Invent 2017 Student Pitches

  • Ulster University, Conor Lecture Theatre 25-51 York Street
  • Belfast, Northern Ireland

Invent is an annual competition, soon to be brought to your TV screens as part of the BBC Made In NI TV show. The competition aims to find NI inventions with the greatest commercial potential and celebrate the culture of innovation across Northern Ireland.

Generation Innovation (Connect at Catalyst Inc) is releasing a limited number of tickets for schools to attend the Invent 2017 Student Pitches which offer an opportunity for Year 11 pupils to watch our Student Finalists pitch against each other to win the coveted 'Invent Student Award'.

The first ten teachers to apply will each receive one complimentary ticket for our INVENT 2017 Awards Ceremony at Belfast Waterfront on Thursday 5th October 2017.

After the pitches your students will be invited to engage in four innovation-focused workshops hosted by Ulster University spanning entrepreneurship, design thinking and 'Internet of Things'.

The event aims to open the young people's eyes to innovative careers of the future.
