I'm Rodrigo Alonso, but people call me Roy (it's easier).
I've been working at Nearsoft, a company that grows your development team for the past couple of years.My client at the moment is Points.com, an app that is built using an API in Go, and several services that consume it.
I'll be talking about the process of writing an API in Go. This will include our journey, our trips and stumbles, the elements that I believe to be important to consider, and some tools to get you started on your own personal projects. At the end I hope you'll leave here ready to switch to Go as part of your main stack and revolutionise the world.
