Esri Ireland, the market leader in Geographic Information Systems (GIS), has announced the appointment of Gareth McBride to Customer Success Manager.
In this role, Gareth will provide leadership and technical guidance at all stages of project delivery and will lead project teams in providing solutions to customers. He will work alongside a team of Solution Architects to solve customers’ business problems with the best practice deployment of Esri Ireland’s digital mapping technology. Gareth will also play a role in Esri Ireland’s coaching culture, training and mentoring other members of the Professional Services team to ensure continued personal and professional development, along with subject matter expertise.
Esri Ireland was recently named in second place on the Best Small Workplaces in Ireland list for 2022 and also featured on the Best Workplaces in Tech List. Gareth holds a role on the Great Place to Work Team, focusing on the area of employee health and wellbeing.
Gareth joined Esri Ireland in Holywood, Co. Down, in 2017 as a GIS Consultant. Before this, he worked as a Pre Sales Engineer with GIS and web mapping software company Cadcorp in England, where he travelled across the UK demonstrating solutions to their customer base. Since joining Esri Ireland, Gareth has worked with many key customers in various roles bringing his skills and expertise to data analysis and the application of GIS technology across various industry sectors.
Gareth holds a Bachelor of Science in Geography from the University of Ulster.

I was first made familiar with the Esri platform in university, so it has always been a company whose innovative technology I have admired. I have been given the opportunity across my time with Esri Ireland to learn, develop and take on more and more responsibility within the company. I enjoy collaborating with our customers and enabling them to find solutions to real world problems using our technology.
