Final call for Fujitsu apprenticeship programme

  • Applications for Fujitsu’s apprenticeship programme will close on Friday 1st July.

    Leading technology company Fujitsu is recruiting 13 new apprentices in Northern Ireland.

    Working in partnership with Belfast Metropolitan College and North West Regional College (NWRC), the new roles will be based in Belfast and Derry/Londonderry with apprenticeships available in Software Development (Level 5), Cloud & Application Development (Level 5) and Technical Operations (Level 3).  

    The award-winning apprenticeship scheme at Fujitsu has been running since 2012, and provides career progression opportunities, with up to 90% of apprentices moving into permanent positions with Fujitsu.

    Discussing the new apprenticeship intake in Northern Ireland, Katie Turner, from the Junior Talent Recruitment Team at Fujitsu said: “Through Fujitsu’s apprenticeship programme, students receive extensive mentorship and hands-on, practical learning experiences, where they will gain invaluable knowledge in key digital areas, whilst working towards a nationally recognised qualification.”

    Students also become part of Fujitsu’s Junior Talent network. This two- year development programme, offers modules including Leadership in Action, Business Awareness and Resilience Awareness.
