US insurance giant Allstate is launching a new recruitment drive for 100 roles in the north.
An event took place on Thursday to kick-off the drive for the jobs, which were first announced in February.
The group’s Northern Ireland business, which specialises in technology and business services, operates from sites in Belfast, Derry and Strabane. Allstate NI claims to be the north’s largest IT employer.

It comes as the group unveiled its new hybrid working policy after 95% of employees backed more flexible arrangements.
Allstate said most staff have opted not to take on a set schedule, and will instead work with line managers to find a pattern to suit their lifestyle and the needs of the business.
The company said its staff can book a desk at its three sites, and can also request a flexible working pattern such as part-time hours, condensed hours or staggered hours.
Allstate NI’s managing director, John Healy said: “Productivity can be achieved anywhere, and greater flexibility in how, when and where we work is an important principle. We are empowering every employee to design a working pattern that suits their needs and the requirements of their team while promoting a healthy work-life balance.”
Mr. Healy also added: “With 100 roles currently on offer, we are thrilled to have opened new modern and dynamic workspaces that will foster more collaboration, innovation and socialisation when employees are in the office. This is an exciting time for Allstate NI, and we hope to see many more individuals join us in this new phase.”
