ANGOKA Ltd, a Belfast cybersecurity start-up focused on securing machine-to-machine communications for Smart Cities and Mobility has won a prestigious award at ITS World Congress.
ITS World Congress, held in Hamburg this year, is the European Road Transport Telematics Implementation Coordination, or ERTICO’s, largest event each year. ERTICO’s mandate is to promote research and set industry standards for Intelligent Transport Systems, which are critical for the future of transport and mobility.
ANGOKA previously announced that it had been selected for the ITS World Congress Start-Up Area, which allowed the company to exhibit and pitch during the event.

Following the successful pitch by Daniel Ruiz, Director of Smart Cities and Mobility, the judges awarded ANGOKA the Technology Innovation Award.
The ANGOKA team have said they are excited to continue innovating and developing their security solution for Smart Cities and Mobility.The company will also be attending several other events before the end of 2021 (including Move 2021, Smart City Expo World Congress and Hello Tomorrow).
