Liberty IT recruiting for 45 student and graduate roles

  • Liberty IT has announced that it is recruiting 45 new student roles with a mix of placement and graduate places available.

As part of the recruitment drive, the company is hosting its annual Tech Carnival event online on Wednesday 29 September. The carnival will give students and graduates the chance to find out more about the technologies used and the opportunities available within the company. Students will also get top tips on the application process and have the opportunity to ask questions about life at Liberty IT.

The successful graduates and interns will join the company in 2022 and start with a five-week Training Academy which helps bridge the gap between university and working life where they will get access to a wide range of training, work on a real-life business project and learn more about how Liberty IT works.

Lewis Hunter an Intern Software Engineer at Liberty IT who is speaking at the event said: “I joined Liberty IT in June of this year and, even though I started remotely, I’ve been made to feel really welcome. I’m encouraged to work at my own pace and am trusted to get stuck into the work once I’m confident myself. I’ve been able to learn so much already and I would love to come back after I graduate.”

Cathy Donnelly, Senior Director of Talent of Liberty IT also added: “We believe that talent early in technology careers should be inspired, valued, and empowered. We look for students and graduates that are creative and curious, full of ideas and passionate about wanting to help change the world, solve problems and keep driving forward. And in return, we promise to invest in their future, nurture their ideas and support and develop them professionally and personally.”
