Donate to NI cancer charity via contactless 'stickers' in local shops

  • Northern Ireland's Cancer Fund for Children is launching 'Sticky' donation stickers in local stores over the next week, to make cashless donations easier for people out and about in NI.

With an increase in contactless payments and the public carrying less physical money due to the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic, consumers will be able to raise funds for young people and families impacted by cancer with a simple tap of their phone.

Initially, the 'Sticky' stickers will be trialled in EUROSPAR Maghera, JC Stewart Grocers in Magherafelt, and Creighton's of Finaghy.

If you are in-store this weekend and see a 'Sticky' sticker (as seen in the headline photo), simply unlock your phone, tap it against the sticker, and you will be brought through to a donation page where you can choose to donate £2, £5, £10 or £20, which will go straight to the local cancer charity.
