Meet the 12 NI start-ups selected for LEVELUP 2021's pitch competition

  • 12 Northern Ireland start-ups have been shortlisted for the LEVELUP start-up pitch competition as part of Derry and Strabane Enterprise Week's LEVELUP 2021 event.

    The event is taking place on 21 - 22 April and is being delivered in partnership with online start-up community, Startacus. 

    The chosen start-ups seeking to impress the judging panel are:

    BOOP - an educational platform designed to remove long standing barriers to learning for students who have Special Educational Needs.

    Sprout - a careers education platform designed to inspire today's students so that they can create a successful future. 

    Linc Technology - the world's first next-generation contactless digital sizing system for jewellery e-commerce. 

    Handicaddie - an app which helps golf clubs and caddies digitise the process of scheduling caddie jobs. 

    Anita Delivery - a local app in Derry/Londonderry that provides deliveries from local shops and butchers.

    Mind-Mapper
     - A 'Fitbit' solution for mental health tracking within the field of talk-based therapies. 

    ShiftSwap - a Predictive Scheduling solution aiming to support workplace wellbeing. 

    Stable Manager - the equestrian world's new hub. Quantify performance, simplify horse care & streamline your equine business with this purpose-built mobile app. 

    Scanmatix - an inventory management software platform. 

    Hill Street Hatch - a hospitality incubator and pop-up space for entrepreneurs in the Belfast hospitality scene who are looking to test and launch new concepts and ideas. 

    Listpals - the simplest way to share medical and funeral wishes. 

    Movetru - aiming to revolutionise the health and fitness industry through advanced wearable technology.

    The LEVELUP pitch competition, which is co-sponsored by RealTime Recruitment, will see the NI start-ups pitching virtually to a panel of industry pros and investors including Beth Glenfield, Scout for Ada Ventures, Audrey Osbourne, Investor at Techstart Ventures LLP, Nico Albanese, Senior Associate at Ascension Ventures and local star Angel Investor Mary McKenna, for the opportunity to win a £2000 cash prize.
